The Protein Works UK | CACAO ALMOND NUT BUTTER | £25.29 | Buy Now |
Cacao Almond Nut Butter is many things, but first and foremost, at TPW™ Towers we had no choice but to vote it the number one craving killing, munchie decimating nut butter we have made to date. It’s literally that good at stopping a sweet tooth in its tracks, turning it round and gently educating it on a new healthy way to snack whilst keeping that macro count in check. Combining the two ingredients most taste buds pour over, the combination of indulgent chocolatiness with the crunch and richness of natural Almonds makes just a single spoonful of this monster satisfy any craving, but if you want even more, spread it on some toast or a splurge on some protein pancakes and you have yourself a high energy, high fibre, nutrient packed healthy snack marathon runners and chocolatiers alike would swoon over. Think we’re slightly obsessing over this one? Well here’s a few more reasons why we’re so passionate about it… the TPW™ nutritional ninjas went to town on this innovation because they were a little angry at the sugar contents of some nut butters out there. Call it a nut butter rebellion if you like, but it ticked them off so much that they went globetrotting and hand sourced all the ingredients to make sure they used not only the finest but only 100% pure and natural ingredients. The result? The raw cacao is specially sourced from the Dominican so it tickles those taste buds in the way you’d only expect from Caribbean rich cacao. They used Coconut Milk Sugar to add a natural sweetness that you’d expect to compliment such a rich Dominican chocolate taste and to top it off, they went all fancy on us and added a pinch of Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt because its more nutrient packed than standard salt, and well, because we’re all so truly obsessed with taste that any way we can innovate natural ingredients to set fireworks off on the buds, then we’ll do it.
