What is Garcinia cambogia? Garcinia cambogia is a fruit, native to Indonesia, which grows from the relatively small tree known as the Garcinia. The fruit itself is similar to a pumpkin in shape, though is significantly smaller.

Garcinia cambogia is known by various names, including; garcinia gummi-gutta, brindleberry, goraka, kudam puli and malabar tamarind.
